Hey there,

I'm Jon, the proud owner of a cozy coffee shop in Durango, Colorado. While I've got my hands full brewing up world-class lattes and baking mouthwatering pastries, my journey here has been quite the ride.

I started out in Bayfield, raised on a ranch, and had a typical all-American youth – varsity sports, marching band leadership, and even dated the head cheerleader. After high school, I pursued a degree in physics and psychology at the University of Northern Colorado, aiming to become a physics teacher.

But life had its twists. I took a detour from teaching and found myself working on suicide prevention with Celebrating Healthy Communities in Durango. From there, I jumped into the midst of the medical world, slinging coffee at Mercy Regional Medical Center throughout the pandemic.

After over three years of caffeinating medical heroes and seeing the pandemic's impact firsthand, I needed a change. So, I bought a small coffee kiosk in a bank lobby. Now, I'm happily crafting top-notch coffee and pastries, bringing a slice of serenity to your day.

Join me at my coffee shop, where you can grab a fantastic coffee, enjoy some homemade treats, and maybe even chat about my journey – because life's twists and turns have a way of shaping the perfect latte.

See you soon,

Jon
